Bad Usability: Now Bad for Your Health

A new study from the Social Issues Research Center in Oxford reports that slow loading and tough to navigate websites increase heart rate and sweating in end-users.

Yikes. So not only is bad web design annoying and amateurish, but now bad design contributes to heart disease.

To the web managers out there: How many more reasons do you need to get your act together, tear apart your website, get some representative users and build a helpful, usable site that will add value to your organization?
